Hot air balloon ride with Glenna and Jeff - Temecula, CA - August 24, 2008 Laura took care of all the arrangements so that Laura & Paul and Glenna & Jeff could enjoy an adventure riding a hot air balloon over the wineries in Temecula, CA.
A Grape Escape provided the balloon ride and the champagne brunch. The flight was over one hour long. Altitudes ranged to nearly as low as 6 ft to as high as 2000 ft. Since the meeting time was at 5:30 AM, we spent the night before just down the street, 15-20 min away, from the take-off location at the Hampton Inn in Temecula.

And back up to catch the currents heading to the north to take us back the way we came.

Not yet.... the crew maneuvered the balloon around to a flat spot with as little brush as possible then drove the trailer underneath the basket.

That's right, for over $150 a person you too can be put to work stuffing a big, dusty balloon into a bag.
